Point of Interest is a love letter to Idaho, America’s public lands, and the freedom we find outdoors.

I grew up in Idaho enjoying public lands, and those experiences helped form the person I am today. They gave me space to explore, find community, experience wonder, and understand the value of preserving places that belong to everyone. As I have grown and traveled the world, I have come to love and appreciate how unique and treasured the public lands of Idaho and the United States truly are.

This work draws inspiration from the visionary eras when our nation established public agencies dedicated to protecting extraordinary landscapes, wildlife, and shared natural resources. It celebrates the visual language and enduring spirit of America’s national parks, national monuments, fish and wildlife departments, historic fire lookouts, and the vast Bureau of Land Management lands that provide unmatched freedom to explore, gather, and roam.

These places belong to all of us, but their future cannot be taken for granted. Point of Interest is both a celebration and a reminder that public lands are part of our shared inheritance. They connect us to our history, the natural world, and one another.

We are building Point of Interest as a testament to the things we value most about the United States: wild landscapes, public access, outdoor recreation, collective stewardship, and the belief that we can preserve something valuable for people we will never meet.

My hope is that Point of Interest can bring people together around a simple idea: these lands are worth experiencing, protecting, and passing on to future generations. If we can strengthen that connection while creating joy, wonder, impactful experiences, and a whole lot of fun, then we are making a mark where it counts.
